JAMESTOWN - Jamestown Police are warning residents of a convicted high risk sex offender who has changed his place of residence in the city for the second time this week .

Jordan Aaron Smith has moved to 1705 4th Avenue NE.  He's a 21-year-old white male who stands 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 210 pounds.  He has blue eyes and brown hair.  His file photo shows him with medium-length hair and clean-shaven.  Smith does not have a vehicle.
Smith was convicted in July 2014 in Stutsman County District Court, ND of Gross Sexual Imposition involving a 14-year-old girl.  A woman allowed Smith to live in her home with two of her minor children, although the woman did not live there.  When police investigated, they found Smith in bed with the 14-year-old.  The two admitted to having intercourse four times over the course of three or four weeks.
Smith is not wanted by police at this time.  He is on probation and GPS monitoring. Printed handouts of his demographics are available at the Jamestown Police Department.
Police Chief Scott Edinger reminds residents that any attempts to harass, intimidate or threaten Mr. Smith, his family, landlord or employer, will be turned over for prosecution.
