I-94 Project Beginning at Valley City
VALLEY CITY - Construction work on the Interstate 94 business loop east in Valley City will begin on Wednesday, July 16 east of the city limits to I-94. Crews will be making asphalt improvements and constructing turning lanes, lighting and guardrails on the I-94 business loop in Valley City. Motorists should be advised of reduced speed limits, width restrictions and temporary lane closures.

Wolski Plaza Road will be realigned/reconstructed as part of this project. The realignment will provide safer access to the I-94 business loop.

During construction:

Motorists should expect delays
Speeds will be reduced to 45 mph in construction zone
Flaggers and pilot car will be present to lead motorists through temporary lane closures
A 12-foot width restriction will be in place

The project is expected to be completed in late-September.
