Jamestown & Mandan Airports to Recieve Federal Grant Money

WASHINGTON, D.C.  – U.S. Senators John Hoeven, Heidi Heitkamp & Congressman Kevin Cramer on Wednesday announced two federal grants totaling over $3.3 million to help assist the Mandan and Jamestown airports in making infrastructure improvements.

These federal funds are invested into the following North Dakota airports:

  • Mandan Municipal Airport: $2,101,000 in federal funds to install perimeter fencing.
  • Jamestown Regional Airport: $1,277,000 in federal funds to rehabilitate the runway and improve safety.

These federal funds are made available through the U.S. Department of Transportation.
