Jamestown City Councilman Dan Buchanan is dead. Buchanan was serving his third four-year term on the Jamestown City Council after being elected for his first term in 2012. He also served as the judge of the Jamestown Municipal Court from April 2, 1974, to April 6, 1982. He died Monday at his home in Jamestown. Dan Buchanan was 86.
Editor’s Correction: The previous version of this story stated Buchanan’s age was 83. He was 86 at the time of passing.
