Minot AFB Welcomes New 91st Security Forces Commander

Minot Air Force Base has welcomed U.S. Air Force Colonel James Slaton as the new commander of the 91st Security Forces. During a ceremony on Tuesday, Slaton assumed his new role, where he will oversee operations involving the 91st Missile Wing Rough Riders’ 1,800 airmen and supporting civilians for the Minuteman III ICBMs. Slaton brings nearly 23 years of experience, including numerous strategic nuclear positions.
