Former Midkota school superintendent Ryan Baron was charged with possessing child sexual abuse materials last November, with new charges added in February. Now, it’s a Federal case as the Justice Department alleges his criminal activity dates back to 2014. Baron’s co-conspirator in the federal case, Aaron Doss, of Fargo, had a related state case pending in Cass County, but it was dismissed in light of the federal indictment.
