Bismarck Man Charged After SWAT Standoff

A Bismarck man faces felony charges following a SWAT standoff last week. Police responded to the home of Joseph Enriquez’s mother after he allegedly punched her and threatened her with a knife. They later found him barricaded in an apartment. According to police, Enriquez brandished a knife, attempted to start a fire, and was ultimately arrested by SWAT officers after jumping out of a window. He is charged with felony terrorizing, preventing arrest, and refusal to halt.
