North Dakota State University and the North Dakota Air National Guard have signed a Memorandum of Agreement to enhance research, service, education, and workforce development in North Dakota.

Signed on June 27, the agreement aims to foster collaboration, research, recruitment, and education within the community. “The 119th Wing’s partnerships have been crucial for new possibilities and innovation. I look forward to the potentials created through our partnership with NDSU,” said Col. Christopher Domitrovich, commander of the 119th Wing. “We appreciate NDSU and President Cook for their support of our Happy Hooligan Airmen and their families.”

The partnership promotes collaboration by sharing information about opportunities at NDSU and connecting the 119th Wing with the NDSU Office of Admission. The 119th Wing will also gather data on the academic interests of potential recruits. Regular meetings will be held to address the shared goals of NDSU and the North Dakota Air National Guard.

“NDSU is always looking for opportunities to support our military population,” said NDSU President David Cook. “This agreement paves the way for collaboration with the North Dakota Air National Guard to strengthen the educational environment across the state, enhancing service to our citizens.”

NDSU will streamline degree pathways for North Dakota Air National Guard members and provide professional academic advising to ensure minimal disruption during deployment.
