NDSU Announces New Wheat Labs

North Dakota State University took a new step in the direction of putting their presence in the wheat industry by introducing two new lab research facilities located in Fargo.

The first facility, The Peltier Complex, will focus on food science, cereal science, meat science, and bioprocess engineering programs, along with facilities in part with the Northern Crops Institute, North Dakota Trade Office, and U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Research Service.

The second facility, The Bolley Agricultural Laboratory, will attend to agricultural research programs like plant pathology, plant breeding, and soil science.

The goal of these new facilities is to establish North Dakota as a leader in agricultural advancing, and also act as a learning hub for international persons looking to expand their knowledge in the farm and ag world.
