Severe thunderstorms struck the southwest corner of North Dakota on Thursday, resulting in at least two confirmed tornadoes. The first tornado was confirmed in Golden Valley County near Trotters, and the second touched down in Stark County near South Heart. While there are no reports of damage from either tornado, strong straight-line winds in Dickinson toppled trees. Additionally, some hail was reported in other areas.
