Health officials report that the West Nile Virus has been detected in mosquitoes in Grand Forks. Although only a few mosquitoes have tested positive for the virus, residents are advised to take precautions. Experts recommend using bug spray, wearing long clothing, and staying indoors at dusk and dawn to reduce the risk of mosquito bites. The West Nile Virus can cause fever, headache, body aches, and a rash, and in rare cases, it can be fatal.
