Going to Work with Dad?

Incase you didn’t know, Bronny James, the son of the Legendary, future Hall of Famer, and all time great, Lebron James was in this years NBA Draft Class after leaving USC to pursue his dream in the NBA.

Many speculated that Bronny would be joining Lebron in Los Angeles to make them the first father and son duo in NBA history to play together on the same team. But also there was talk Bronny could get picked up by some other team and may pit the all time great Dad versus his young rookie Son.

The Los Angeles Lakers didn’t let that happen, with the 55th Pick in the second round of the NBA draft, the Lakers would select Bronny setting up the possibility of the two playing on the same court together. One misconception thanks to the NFL and its Draft coverage, is that Bronny STILL NEEDS to make the team in order to play with Lebron. A lot of the times, NBA teams will send rookies to the G-League in order to develop them and be ready for the speed and action of an NBA court.

So now that Bronny has been drafted, will we see him MAKE the team and join his dad on the court, or will the Lakers choose to send him to the G-League, and possibly assure that the last name “James” in the league is a name here to stay for the years to come.
