Luke Bryan doesn’t know if he will be invited back to be a judge on the 2025 season of American Idol. In a new interview with Billboard, the country star said he isn’t sure what the show producers has planned. “It’s been something Disney has been really tight-lipped about with me and Lionel [Richie] and Ryan [Seacrest],” Bryan explained. “We currently haven’t heard what the story is on who’s coming back, and if Lionel and I are coming back. I think Disney is just trying to figure out what they want to do and we’re just kind of sitting back and waiting until they decide.”

In other Luke Bryan news, during his performance on Friday at the 99.5 WYCD Hoedown in Clarkston, Michigan, the singer dedicated an emotional version of “Have A Beer” to fallen Michigan sheriff deputy, Bradley J. Reckling, who recently died in the line of duty. “So I’m gonna sing this song out to…I heard that you guys lost an officer in the line of duty by the name of Brad Reckling,” Bryan said. “We’re gonna send this out to him and his family.” (Taste of Country)
