The Jamestown City council has unanimously approved a change for planned commercial property development by Central Sales. The 3-0 vote proposes taxes no longer be assessed for development. Instead, there will be a five-year payment plan which includes no payments in the first two years. $250,000 in payments would be spread between years three and five of the plan. Central Sales will need to approve the change. They are planning on constructing a commercial implement dealership near the Anne Carlsen Center. Their main headquarters are currently just outside of Jamestown.
