Making Their Mark

The WNBA All Star rosters have been announced and to nobody’s surprise, the announced names had two NEW names that have been the talk of the league this season.

Caitlyn Clark of the Indiana Fever and Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky were voted into the all star game that will take place in Phoenix Arizona, on July 20th when the WNBA All Stars will take on the US Women’s National Team.

Clark and Reese accounted for almost 1 million votes as the only rookies to be named to the team. Clark bringing in over 700,000 votes, and Reese bringing in over 380,000 votes.

Both players are in their first year and have brought a lot of attention to the league and women’s basketball dating back to their days at their respective college’s of Iowa and LSU. However, on July 20th, they will be teammates.

Clark and Reese will be accompanied by other voted All Stars including, Aj’a Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces, Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty and Clarks teammate in Indiana Aliyah Boston.
