North Dakota health officials are warning residents about recalled mushroom edibles that may be related to a death in the state.

Prophet Premium Blends Diamond Shruumz products were recalled on June 28, and residents were advised not to eat, sell or serve the products.  The recalled products contain muscimol, a chemical found in mushrooms of the genus Amanita that could cause symptoms experienced by people who became ill after consuming the products.  There have been 48 illnesses in 24 states related to the products.
