The Downtown Jamestown Arts Market opens for the season on Thursday in the Hansen Arts Park. The annual event that features music, art and activities for the public is free and runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. through Aug. 29. Along with music, a community art project will be featured at each Market and The Arts Center gallery will be open. The Jamestown Fine Arts Association continues to raise funds for its $2 million capital campaign, “Raising the Bar for the Arts,” for the project.
