Minnesota based Dairy company Riverview Dairy has submitted a plan to build two new Dairy Farms in the eastern part of North Dakota.
The MEGA-farm as it’s called will be able to house thousands of cows creating new jobs and opportunities for other residents in the area which could boost the North Dakota current state of a struggling dairy industry.
Questions surround the new farm project like if North Dakota has a feasible market for the milk to be produced, and some landowners not wanting to see the land used for its purposes.
The state is also looking into the funding of this project with the possibility of agribusiness development money being used to help build the impending MEGA Farm.
