Country Bear Jamboree Returns To Disney With Reimagined Nashville-Style Tunes

The Country Bear Musical Jamboree is making a celebrated return to the Walt Disney World Resort on July 17. The Country Bears have been entertaining audiences at Frontierland in Magic Kingdom Park for over 50 years. And now the show has been reimagined for a contemporary audience, with the Country Bears singing Nashville-style Disney tunes inspired by country, Americana, bluegrass, and rockabilly. Country stars Mac McAnally and Emily Ann Roberts have breathed new life into some Disney classics, with McAnally producing and rearranging songs like “The Bare Necessities” from The Jungle Book along with the Frozen hit, “Fixer-Upper.”

“I first saw the Country Bears as a teenage musician and it bolstered my pride in the acoustic musical heritage of the rural south,” says McAnally. “I next saw the show with my own kids and sat amongst multiple generations of families from all over and felt that common bond that lasts a lifetime.” (Music Row)
