North Dakota Country Fest brought tens of thousands of people to the small town of New Salem over the weekend. The North Dakota Highway Patrol said it was the busiest weekend on the state’s highways due to the festival, eclipsing 4th of July and Memorial Day weekends. Headliners included Dierks Bentley, Clint Black, Diamond Rio, and Riley Green. The festival will be back next year in the small town of just over 1,000 residents, with organizers announcing Sam Hunt and Cole Swindell performing in 2025. Swindell said on his Facebook page that he was already looking forward to playing there next summer.
