A Cavalier, North Dakota motorcycle driver has life-threatening injuries and faces charges for killing his passenger after crashing into a deer Friday night. Investigators say deer came out of the ditch on County Road 4, about 4 Miles east of Bathgate and into the path of 43-year-old Robert Winkler’s motorcycle. 43-year-old Jenny Halldorson of Hamilton, North Dakota was thrown from the bike and died at the scene. No helmets were worn. He is in Pembina County Memorial Hospital in and faces charges of driving under revocation and driving without liability insurance.
