The Williston Fire Department’s Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting station responded to a recreational aircraft emergency at Williston Basin International Airport Sunday.  A single-engine aircraft was having problems with its landing gear while attempting to touch down at the airport. The department said the aircraft had two passengers who were both Canadian citizens. The man and the woman were able to get out of the aircraft.  She was evaluated and treated for minor injuries by First Responders. Neither of the occupants were transported to the hospital. The FAA and NTSB are investigating the incident.
