Bison Picked Second in MVFC, 10 Players Selected to Preseason Teams

The NDSU Bison football team is inching closer and closer to a return to the football field. As the season approaches, media and experts have begun their predictions on how the 2024 season will play out, and the Bison, as they have been the last 15 years, are in the mix yet again.

According the leagues coaches poll, the Bison are predicted to finish second in the conference, behind state line rival South Dakota State.

The Top 5 Preseason Teams Include.

  1. South Dakota State University
  2. North Dakota State University
  3. The University of South Dakota
  4. The University of South Illinois
  5. The University of North Dakota

North Dakota state went 5-3 against the rest of the conference in 2023, with a home loss to USD, and losses on the road to UND, and SDSU.

With the poll prediction, the All Preseason Conference teams were also established and 10 bison were named to the first and second teams.

On the first team, fullback and long snapper Hunter Brozio, offensive lineman Gray Zabel, defensive linemen Dylan Hendricks and Eli Mostaert,  linebacker Logan Kopp and safety Cole Wisneiwski.

Making the second team was quarterback Cam Miller, tight end Joe Stoffel, offensive lineman Mason Miller, and kicker Griffin Crosa.

The NDSU Bison will begin their season on the road visiting Coach Prime and the Colorado Buffalo’s on Aug 29th, with new Bison Head Coach Tim Polasek making his debut as the new leader of the Green and Gold Thundering Herd.
