Minnesota Vikings offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw agreed to a contract extension, linking him to the team until 2029. The deal includes $113 Million Dollars in the new extension with $77 Million Dollars guaranteed. Darrisaw has started for the Vikings since his rookie year in 2021, and has rose to be one of the top pass protectors in the league. Darrisaw was graded as a 82.4 according to Pro Football Focus, playing a total of 982 snaps in 2023, and allowing 6 sacks.

An update to a story we’ve covered all offseason, the San Francisco 49ers addressed the ongoing conversation about Brandon Aiyuk and his most recent request for a trade. 49ers General Manager John Lynch commented on the recent events saying, “We fully intend on Brandon being a Niner moving forward,” Lynch said. “We’re always open to listen to things, but like I said, we expect Brandon to be an integral part of our team like he has been and excited about that.” This was said previously in the offseason before talks fell through again and Aiyuk requested a trade once more. Another installment of this saga will be reported once the deal is done, or Aiyuk is dealt to another team.

And lastly, the Cleveland Browns and wide receiver Amari Cooper agreed to a restructured deal, giving the 5x Pro Bowler a $5 Million Dollar raise, and giving Cooper $20 Million Dollars in guaranteed money left on his deal. Cooper is coming off a 72 catch season with 1250 yards, and 5 touchdowns, and became a reliable target for the carousel of Browns quarterbacks in 2023.
