One person is jail after allegedly stealing hundreds of dollars’ worth of fuel from at least three retailers. The Cass County Sheriff’s Office say on Monday they received three separate reports of a person filling barrels in the bed of a Toyota pickup with gas and leaving without paying for the fuel. Police say they found the pickup on State 371 in Shingobee Township and initiated a traffic stop. 28 year-old Sapphire Torres was arrested and has charges pending including possession of burglary or theft tools, theft of motor fuel from a retailer and tampering with a motor vehicle.
