Another day, another day of Training camp headlines for teams who are underway in preparation for the 2024 NFL Season. Here’s 3 notable ones.

2023 NFL MVP Lamar Jackson made his return to the Baltimore Ravens after missing time when camp originally started. When Jackson took the field, he would only last one hour before he was escorted into the facility, with trainers saying he wasn’t feeling well. Reports say Lamar shared snaps with backup Josh Johnson before leaving, and some said Jackson didn’t look like himself as he practiced. The Ravens will be off on Thursday with hope their MVP quarterback is ready to go on Friday.

Another San Francisco 49ers player is in the news for contract disputes. Offensive Tackle Trent Williams was absent from the first day of camp, and reports say Williams will be holding out until a new contract is signed. Coach Kyle Shanahan commented on his missing all pro tackle saying, “It was something I knew could be a possibility and I was hoping that he would be here, but I knew it could be a possibility and I felt pretty confident it’ll all work out in the long run and he’ll be here, and we’ll get on the same page with everything. But it’s just one day of practice and I think Trent will be all right missing a few practices.” Looks like there is no sweating from the 49ers side with this player wanting his contract, meanwhile Brandon Aiyuk is still without a contract as well.

And after his DUI arrest earlier this month, Jordan Addison made his first public comments during Vikings training camp. Addison said he was in a very dark place after he was arrested, but managed to push through his emotions when he found out the support his was receiving from fans and teammates saying, “I was surprised by the support that I received, I didn’t think it was going to be how it was, but it was really important. I was in the dark place. I was feeling down, and they really uplifted me, uplifted me to come out here and just perform at a high level still. So, through everything that’s going on, I’m going to put it behind me and I’m still going to perform at a high level, come out here give the fans what they pay for.” It is unknown yet if Addison will receive some kind of punishment for now his second arrest in 2 years since being drafted to Minnesota.
