By Ryan King Jul 26, 2024 | 8:00 AM

Another No-Hitter was logged into the MLB record books yesterday when Dylan Cease of the San Diego Padres allowed 0 hits, and 0 earned runs against the Washington Nationals on Thursday Afternoon.

The Padres would win the game 3-0, and Cease joined Ronel Blanco of the Houston Astros for No-Hitters thrown in the MLB in 2024. Cease would walk 3 batters and send 9 back to the dugout in strikeouts during the completion of the No-Hitter.

The feat by Cease also became just the second pitcher to allow no hits in San Diego Padres History, and the No-Hitter also was recognized as the 324th in MLB History.

Cease is  10-8 on the season, with a 3.50 ERA, and 168 strikeouts.
