Viking Wide Receiver Turning Heads at Training Camp

The Minnesota Vikings already hold the highest paid non-QB in the league, All Pro and the best wide receiver in football, Justin Jefferson. To compliment Jefferson is a rising star himself Jordan Addison who had a spectacular rookie year, and will look to build on that in year 2, despite some legal troubles in the offseason.

The Vikings may also see another wide receiver developing, and poised for a big year right before their very eyes at training camp. Jalen Nailor, a third year wide receiver out of Michigan State, has been turning heads of coaches, media, and teammates as training camp has moved on.

Nailor was seen consistently getting open and catching passes, most notably, during a 7 on 7 drill, Nailor caught three touchdown passes from the top 3 quarterbacks on the roster, Sam Darnold, Nick Mullens, and J.J. McCarthy.

Nailor is battling for the number three wide receiver position on the team in training camp, with fellow pass catchers, Brandon Powell, Trent Sherfield Sr, and Lucky Jackson right behind him. He will have to continue this production throughout the preseason to keep his spot which currently on the depth chart is listing him as WR #3.

The Vikings first preseason game will be Saturday August 10th, when they will host the Las Vegas Raiders at US Bank Stadium.
