By Seth Dunlap Jul 31, 2024 | 10:25 AM

Teenage drivers in North Dakota are responsible for a disproportionate amount of vehicle crashes in the state.   Vision Zero, the state’s driving safety awareness program, says children between the ages of 14-18 were involved in 16% of all crashes and 11% of fatal incidents.  This is despite that age group making up just 6.6% of the state’s population. That according to the latest driving data studied from 2022.  Vision Zero will hold child driving courses that include simulations of driving drunk and how that impairs drivers.  Attendees can will also learn how to change tires.   The courses will be held in Fargo and Grand Forks this fall.
