Team USA would get another win in their group play against Belgium on Thursday afternoon winning 87-74, improving to 2-0.
Breanna Stewart and Aj’a Wilson have been the main source of offense for Team USA, this time Stewart leading the team with 26, with Wilson adding 23. Wilson lead the team in scoring with Stewart right behind in Game 1 versus Japan.
The rest of Team USA was quiet with no other player scoring into double digits, Jewel Lloyd would come off the bench scoring 8.
Team USA will continue their run in group play, trying to make it 3-0, when they will take on Germany this Sunday.
