Team USA began its quarterfinal of the Olympics yesterday afternoon, and cruised to a 122-87 victory over Brazil, setting up what could be a good rematch in the Semifinal.

But to the game first.

It was ALL USA from the get go, outscoring Brazil, 63- 36 in the first half, and 59-51 in the second half. It would be Devin Booker’s turn to lead the team in scoring with 18 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists. Anthony Edwards would have another stellar performance, coming off the bench to score 17, with 5 rebounds, and 2 assists. And Joel Embiid also contributed with 14 points, and 7 rebounds. All members of Team USA would score points in the game, and nobody was kept out on the fun.

The USA improved to 4-0 in the Olympics, and will have rematch against a team they’ve played quite a few times during this Olympic run, Serbia, lead by 3x NBA MVP Nicola Jokic. Team USA did defeat Serbia once already in group play, 110-84, this time loser goes home.
