A personal watercraft parked in Jamestown was destroyed in a fire on Monday morning.   The Jamestown Fire Department responded to the 1700 block of 11th Street Northeast where a wave runner type craft that was parked on a trailer was engulfed in flames.  JFD put out the blaze, but not before the watercraft was fully destroyed.   The Fire Department believes a faulty battery cause gas fumes to ignite, but an investigation is ongoing.  Nobody was injured, and the owner helped assist in getting the engulfed watercraft out of harm’s way.
