The last week of preseason is upon us, here are some notable headlines around the NFL.

-Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores responded to the recent comments a former of player of his made during an interview earlier this week. Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa said in a recent podcast interview that Flores constantly put him down, and didn’t give him the confidence to be the NFL quarterback he needed to be, also saying once Mike McDaniels took over that he felt that he was in a better place. Flores was asked about these comments after Vikings practice yesterday saying, “Look, I’m human, so that hit me in a way that wasn’t … positive for me. But at the same time, I’ve got to use that and say, ‘Hey, how can I grow from that? How can I be better?” Flores also said he wishes nothing but the best for Tua.

Aaron Rodgers made some comments about his experience at New York Jets training camp this summer. Rodgers said he was warned by Head Coach Robert Saleh that this years camp would be hard, and he wasn’t lying. Rodgers said,  “I would say the camp is much harder this year and maybe the hardest in the last seven or eight of my career.” Rodgers said the camp has been taxing, but he likes it. Rodgers will try to make a full season this upcoming year after just playing 4 plays in 2023.

-And Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has said he had positive talks with all pro wide receiver Cee Dee Lamb. Lamb has been looking for a new contract since the beginning of training camp, and has not shown up yet for practice. The two had an interesting back and forth earlier this month after Jones said that he wasn’t making it a priority to get the new contract done with Lamb, Lamb responded on social media saying, “LOL.” The Cowboys will need their star pass catcher this upcoming season after a great year last year, and being the number 1 target of starting quarterback Dak Prescott.
