Kings Power Rankings Week 2! Dallas Rises, Baltimore Drops

By Ryan King Sep 11, 2024 | 9:03 AM

The first week of the NFL has come and gone and its time to update the power rankings. The first week of the season is always hard to react to, because you don’t know the true identity of some teams just yet. The teams that opened their season with a loss, was it just because of rust, and not a lot of players playing the preseason? Or is it something that could play a factor in the rest of their season? We seen a couple of upsets, as well as a couple of dominant performances, that effected the rankings entering Week 2.

Here are my Power Rankings entering the second week of the NFL season!

1. Kansas City –

2. Detroit +1

3. San Francisco +1

4. Baltimore -2

5. Philadelphia –

6. Miami –

7. Houston +2

8. Dallas +3

9. Green Bay -2

10. Cleveland -2

11. Buffalo +1

12. Cincinnati -2

13. Los Angeles Rams –

14. Tampa Bay +2

15. New York Jets -1

16. Atlanta -1

17. Minnesota +2

18. Indianapolis –

19. Jacksonville -2

20. Los Angeles Chargers +1

21. Seattle -1

22. New Orleans +1

23. Chicago -1

24. Pittsburgh +2

25. New England +5

26. Washington -1

27. Denver -3

28. Arizona -1

29. Las Vegas -1

30. Tennessee -1

31. New York Giants +1

32. Carolina -1

We seen some significant moves by Dallas +3, and New England +5, after Dallas completely dominated the Browns in Cleveland, and New England upsetting Cincinnati in the jungle. Carolina retook its spot as the worst team in the NFL after an abysmal showing against New Orleans. Green Bay dropped slightly after the injury to Jordan Love and could drop more and more with each week he misses. Detroit took my second spot after they came out in overtime and pounded the ball to the victory against the Rams, but San Francisco could definitely be in my 2nd spot as well after a great showing against the Jets. We can expect some other moves by this time next week as Kansas City will play Cincinnati, Atlanta will take on Philadelphia on Monday night, and Tampa Bay visiting Detroit.
