Minnesota Lynx Clinch #2 Seed in WNBA Playoffs

The Minnesota Lynx won their seventh game in a row last night defeating the Connecticut Sun 78-76. With the win and celebrating their seventh in a row, the Lynx also learned what seed they will be in the WNBA playoffs.

For the game, as per usual, Napheesa Collier would lead the team in scoring with 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists. Kayla McBride would also contribute in the win with 14 points, and 7 rebounds. The Lynx would lead most of the game, but had to hold off the Sun in the fourth quarter to seal the win, and their playoff seeding.

The New York Liberty would also win last night, clinching the top spot in the standings, and with their win, the Lynx would clinch the #2 seed. And its looking like their opponent in the first round has been determined too, with the #7 seed, the Minnesota Lynx would be taking on the Phoenix Mercury. And the first round of the WNBA playoffs will begin on September 22nd.
