The program also utilizes a USDA Climate-Smart Commodities Grant to study the effects of targeted sheep grazing at four universities in California, Texas, Montana, and North Carolina. These studies will assess impacts on soil health, and ecosystem health, with one site focusing on solar grazing. The ALB prioritizes sustainability, aiming to demonstrate its commitment to environmental stewardship to retail customers and consumers.
