The Minnesota Wild are making cuts to their roster ahead of the start of the regular season on October 10th against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Minnesota Wild President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Bill Guerin announced Sunday that the team has reduced its training camp roster to 50 players.

Four of the players will head to the Iowa Wild’s training camp, with three of them going to the Western Hockey League. The Wild must cut the roster down to just 23 players for the start of the regular season.
