By Patrick McColl Sep 26, 2024 | 2:10 PM

The Jamestown City Council will hold a meeting on Monday, October 7th, to appoint an individual to fill the vacant term on the City Council.

Bob Toso resigned on August 16th for personal reasons, leaving the seat open. The seat will be up for election against June 2026 and run for two years. The three people who applied will get three minutes to speak at the meeting and share why they want to be appointed to serve on the City Council.

Mayor Dwaine Heinrich said there won’t be any tiebreakers if the vote is tied at two to two.
