The Detroit Tigers are in front of the Twins and open up a three game home series against the Chicago White Sox this weekend. The Twins hold the tiebreaker over the Tigers but need to sweep to the Baltimore Orioles this weekend and hope for a White Sox sweep of the Tigers to make the postseason.
