The Supreme Court ruled that MoneyGram Payment Systems unclaimed official checks are governed by the Federal Disposition Act and should be returned to the state where they were purchased. North Dakota will receive about $1.3 million from the escrow account, along with $926,00 from the state of Delaware for a total of around $2.2 million.
