North Dakota’s Ryan Bergh was given eight years of prison time by a judge in Forman, North Dakota after being found guilty of kidnapping a bartender at gunpoint.
The incident occurred in October 2023. The incident was caught on the bar’s surveillance cameras. The 48-year-old Bergh says that his bad decision was a result of too much alcohol and new medication.
The bartender, Melissa Birnbaum, said she is still terrified of Bergh and will never be the same.
