The Minnesota Vikings aren’t the only ones with title hopes in the land of 10,000 lakes. The Minnesota Lynx punched their ticket last night to their seventh WNBA Finals appearance in team history, their first appearance since 2017, defeating the Connecticut Sun 88-77.

As per usual Napheesa Collier was the leading scorer for the Lynx getting 27 points, and 11 rebounds also helping out with 4 assists. Courtney Williams also was a main contributor scoring 24 with 7 assists. The Lynx coasted to a win, and including a fast start in the first half, and holding off the Sun for the win in the second half.

The Lynx will face the New York Liberty making their second consecutive trip to the finals after defeating the defending champs the Las Vegas Aces in the Semifinal round. The Liberty unlike the Lynx will attempt to bring home their first championship in team history, while Minnesota will try to bring in their 5th title in team history. With a win the Lynx would hold the top spot with the most championships won in WNBA History. The Lynx are currently tied with the Seattle Storm and the former no longer existing team the Houston Comets for the most all time.
