The Medina Public School system is celebrating after residents came together and put forward a plan to build a new community center. That new building will allow for sports, dances, weddings, and other functions. Dakota Heritage Bank has helped with funding, and the building will carry their name. . .the Dakota Heritage Bank Activity Center. It will be build on land currently owned by the town’s parks department. There has been over $350,000 raised for the project that has an expected budget of $500,000. The city will continue raising funds while construction planning begins.
