A man is in serious conditions after a crash in Wells County on Sunday. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a 36-year-old man was driving a Ford F150 truck a couple of miles west of Sykeston on Highway 200 around 7:00 p.m. when he crashed into a semi-truck that had begun turning off the road and into a farm. According the Highway Patrol, the driver of the Ford wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, was seriously injured, and eventually airlifted to Sanford Hospital in Fargo. He faces charges of DUI and driving under suspension. The driver of the semi-truck was reportedly wearing a seatbelt and was uninjured. They are not expected to be charged. The NDHP says their investigation is ongoing.
