Hardy said the song matched where co-writer Hunter Phelps was at in his life, just starting a family with his wife and capturing those emotions in the song. Hardy then revealed that he and his wife are going to experience that same feeling soon. “I hope I don’t get in trouble for this, but we’re celebrating the number one party and Caleigh and I are bringing a baby into the world,” Hardy announced, with everyone in attendance keeping the big news a secret until the couple decided to formally announce it with a joint Instagram post on Tuesday (October 15). Caleigh captioned the post, “You have been our favorite little secret to keep 🍼 🙏🏻 Baby Hardy coming February 2025 🤍.”
