Major League Baseball will announce its Gold Glove recipients on November 3rd, and the Twins Carlos Santana and Willi Castro have been named as finalists for the award.
If Santana wins, he would be the oldest player in MLB history to win his first Gold Glove led all first baseman in Outs Above Average with 14. He also led the America League in Defensive Runs Saved with eight. This season, Castro became the first player in MLB history to play at least 25 games at five different positions.
