Cass and Barnes Counties are temporarily banning campfires as burn restrictions continue across the state. Burn restrictions are already in place in several counties, as drought conditions continue to intensify in Western and Southeastern North Dakota. Controlled burns must be called in and restrictions are in place for campfires, garbage burnings, and cropland burnings.
