The Cass County Sheriff’s Dept. designates election day as ‘Brown Day’.  It’s called “Brown Day” to reflect the color of the uniforms worn by Cass County Sheriff’s deputies.  Sheriff Jesse Jahner says his department will have a presence around polling sites on Tuesday to ensure voters are not bothered and election workers are allowed to do their jobs without any disruptions.  The sheriff’s office has jurisdiction at all polling sites in the county.  Polls in Cass County are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
