A West Fargo man previously convicted of aggravated assault is now facing a new charge. 34-year-old Jeremy Dalton was found guilty of aggravated assault in 2023, and sentenced to 180 days in jail and two years of probation. Dalton has now been arrested and charged with domestic violence. Charging documents say he grabbed a woman by her throat until she wasn’t able to breathe. A child who was inside the home during the incident was the one who called 911. Dalton’s next court appearance is November 13. He is also facing a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm.
