Bank robbery in Moorhead leaves one in custody

Police were called to the First International Bank at 865 37th Avenue South in Moorhead around 8:20 a.m. Captain Deric Swenson told Valley News that a man walked into the bank with a weapon and demanded money.

The man left the scene with cash, but it was not said how much. The suspect was tracked by a K9 and about 20 minutes after the robbery, the person was taken into custody at the Bison Plains Lodge.

The investigation is still ongoing and more information is to come.
